Now is the time to update the users who have access to your program on the NCLEX® Program Reports Website!

As the school term comes to a close, Mountain Measurement would like to ask you to take a few moments to visit the NCLEX® Program Reports website and update the roster of users you would like to have access to your nursing program.

In addition, we ask that if you or any of your colleagues are no longer associated with the program in question, you remove those users, or update that information with our support center.

If your role has changed and you are no longer in a position to manage user access to your program’s NCLEX® Program Reports, it is important that you assign a new administrator to take your place. The new administrator can be anyone from your program who will take responsibility for managing requests from users who wish to link their account to your nursing program.

Program evaluation is most effective when all stakeholders are involved and we invite all faculty and staff to register an account and link that account to their nursing program(s). We also invite office managers, administrators, administrative assistants, and purchasing staff to register an account in order to streamline the management of your subscription.

If you have any questions, please contact us at support@nclex.mountainmeasurement.com.

Mountain Measurement, Inc. has published the second article in the series on nursing accreditation titled “The Impact of the 2018 CCNE Standards Changes on You and Your Students"

Mountain Measurement, Inc. has published the second article in the series on nursing accreditation on the NCLEX Program Reports Professional Development Seminars website. This article, titled “The Impact of the 2018 CCNE Standards Changes on You and Your Students”, was written by Catherine Dearman, Ph.D., RN, an experienced CCNE and Southern Regional Education Board evaluator. The article is available here.

Cathy’s article focuses on the impact that the 2018 revisions to the key elements of Standards III and IV have on programs. Like prior editions of the Standards, the 2018 revisions provide a “framework, not a set of directions” allowing educators to evaluate their program and document program effectiveness in a manner that works best for them; the 2018 revisions have enhanced this idea and are discussed along with the key elements examined in the article.

The next NCLEX Program Reports article will address the basics of education program codes and provides tips for programs to avoid program code-related data anomalies in their NCLEX Program Reports. This article is scheduled for release in early April. #accreditation #nursingaccreditation #CCNE #acen #programevaluation

NCLEX® Program Reports?

If you answered "Yes!" to any of these questions, then you should consider joining the NCLEX® Program Reports Panel of Experts.

The NCLEX® Program Reports Panel of Experts provides vision, leadership, and insight to the creators and producers of the NCLEX® Program Reports. The Panel is comprised of experienced nursing educators with a passion for continuous program improvement.

Monday March 20, 2017
The 2017 Q1 Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports is now available for purchase.

Mountain Measurement, Inc., Pearson VUE, and The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) are pleased to announce that the first Quarterly Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports is now available for purchase. The 2017 Q1 Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports contains the same information that is provided in both the Annual and Semi-Annual Editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports. However, as the name implies, the reporting period for this edition will be three (3) months long, covering first-time graduates testing from January 1, 2017 to March 31, 2017. Quarterly Supplemental CSV files are also available for purchase. For more information about the NCLEX® Program Reports editions and the Supplemental CSV Files, check out the Editions page of the NCLEX® Program Reports website.

The 2017 Q1 Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports, is a special promotional edition and is scheduled to be published on May 15, 2017 for US programs and May 19, 2017 for Canadian programs. This special edition will allow programs to monitor their performance on a calendar year basis beginning in 2017 and is available as a stand alone product. The 2017 Q1 Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports costs $175.00 RN/$112.50 PN, and the associated Supplemental CSV Files cost $37.50 RN/$25.00 PN. To purchase the 2017 Q1 Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports, please visit the new Order Reports page of the NCLEX® Program Reports website.

The Quarterly Editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports for the 2017-2018 Reporting Year will be available for purchase in May, 2017 when all of the editions of the 2017-2018 NCLEX® Program Reports become available for purchase.

As with the other editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports, to maximize the utility of the information provided by the Quarterly Editions, programs must have at least 10 graduates complete the NCLEX® Examination during the reporting period. Programs interested in solely the number of graduates testing and the passing rate will find this information in all editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports regardless of the number of graduates testing during the reporting period.

Programs should exercise caution when interpreting the information contained in the Quarterly Editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports. For instance, programs are discouraged from analyzing performance across the quarters within a single year since there is variation in the performance of the comparison groups by quarter. For example, 2017 Q1 performance should not be compared to 2017 Q2 performance. Rather, longitudinal performance can be evaluated within the same quarter across years. For example, 2017 Q1 performance can be compared to 2018 Q1 performance.

If you have any questions about these changes, we encourage you to contact the NCLEX® Program Reports Support Center.

Friday March 3, 2017
Quarterly Editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports are coming soon.

Mountain Measurement, Inc., Pearson VUE, and The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) are pleased to announce the availability of Quarterly Editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports. Quarterly Editions of the Reports will contain the same information that is provided in both the Annual and Semi-Annual Editions. However, as the name implies, the reporting period for each Quarterly Report will be only three (3) months. Quarterly Supplemental CSV files will also be available. Programs that graduate at least 10 students in any quarter will find the applicable Quarterly Editions useful while those programs that graduate at least 10 students in all four quarters of the year will find the suite of four Quarterly Editions most helpful.

We are also excited to inform you of a change in the way in which the Program Reports are packaged. Programs will now have the opportunity to purchase individual editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports rather than subscriptions to the NCLEX® Program Reports as they have done in the past. Despite this added flexibility, participating programs will be required to purchase at least two editions during the Reporting Year (April 1 - March 31). For example, programs can now purchase a Fall and an Annual Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports, rather than having to choose between a Semi-Annual or an Annual subscription to the NCLEX® Program Reports. The cost per Report and per set of Supplemental CSV files has not changed ($175.00 RN/$112.50 PN per Report and $37.50 RN/$25.00 PN per set of Supplemental CSV files).

In order to accommodate the changes mentioned above, Mountain Measurement, Inc. has been busy making modifications to the NCLEX® Program Reports website. You will be notified via email when these changes have been completed. Until that time, you will still be able to access, order, pay for, and download the NCLEX® Program Reports. However, you will not be able to order Quarterly Editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports until the website modifications have been made. We anticipate that the website will be ready March 15, 2017.

On March 15, 2017, programs will be able to begin ordering the first Quarterly Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports. This edition, the 2017 Q1 Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports, covering candidates testing between January 1 and March 31, 2017, will be a special promotional edition and may be purchased without any other Program Reports pertaining to the 2016-2017 reporting year. This special edition will allow programs wishing to track their students on a calendar year basis to begin with 2017. The 2017 Q1 Edition of the NCLEX® Program Reports is scheduled to be published on May 15, 2017 for US programs and May 19, 2017 for Canadian programs. Subsequent Quarterly Editions of the NCLEX® Program Reports will be available for purchase in May, 2017 when all of the editions of the 2017-2018 NCLEX® Program Reports become available for purchase.

If you have any questions about these changes, we encourage you to contact the NCLEX® Program Reports Support Center.

Dear Customer,

Mountain Measurement, Inc., Pearson VUE and The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) are committed to making the NCLEX® Program Reports affordable to nursing programs. We are proud of the fact that the price of subscriptions has not increased in over 15 years. During this time, Mountain Measurement has increased efficiencies and instituted cost saving measures which have allowed us to keep the price constant despite inflation.

However, due to the rising costs of producing and servicing the NCLEX Program Reports, subscription fees have changed. We are pleased to report that the cost of Supplemental CSV file subscriptions has not changed.

We thank you for your business and hope that you will understand the need for these changes.

Sincerely,
