2023-2024 Q1, Semi-Annual Spring and Annual data are now available for 2023-2024 NCLEX® Program Reports subscribers

US and CA programs subscribing to the 2023-2024 NCLEX® Program Reports now have access to the analytics that describe their program's performance during the 2023-2024 Q1, Semi-Annual Spring and Annual reporting periods.

New for the 2023-2024 reporting year, subscribing programs receive access to all 7 reporting periods (when available), historic data and PDF/CSV exports. In addition, the NCLEX® Program Reports now include interactive tables and charts and the performance of graduates on Next Gen NCLEX® items related to each step of the NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model.

To access your 2023-2024 NCLEX® Program Reports, go to the "Program Reports" dropdown menu at the top of the page and select "Access Next Gen NCLEX Program Reports."

It's time to register for Mountain Measurement's Program Evaluation Series

Mountain Measurement, Inc. invites nursing educators and administrators to register for the Program Evaluation Series Professional Development Courses this June 3-13, 2024.

The Program Evaluation Series is intended to provide educators and administrators with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to participate in and lead program evaluation activities at their organization. Nursing faculty members, administrators, and graduate students enroute to becomming educators are invited to participate.

Certificates of completion are provided within one week of completing a Professional Development Course.

Mountain Measurement Invites Users to Register for Assessment Series Course 430 - "Writing Nursing Test Questions"

Mountain Measurement, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Assessment Series Professional Development Courses, 430 - "Writing Nursing Test Questions," will be offered again April 30, 2024. Nursing faculty members, administrators, and graduate students enroute to becomming educators are invited to participate. Both of these courses will be delivered as synchronous, web-based courses.

430 - "Writing Nursing Test Questions"
(Tuesday, April 30, 2024, 10 AM - 1 PM Pacific Time)

This synchronous course will be delivered by Kathy Gaberson, PhD, RN, CNOR, CNE, ANEF, Owner and Principal Nursing Education Consultant for OWK Consulting, and Wyetta Bontempo, Ph.D., Founder and Principal Consultant with Mountain Measurement, Inc.

Purpose

The goal of 430 - "Writing Nursing Test Questions" is to prepare educators to write assessment content (i.e., test items).

Learning Outcomes

The objectives of the course are as follows. Upon course completion, participants will be able to:

  • Use item specifications to guide item development.
  • Develop effective case scenarios.
  • Select the most useful item type for various cognitive and psychomotor tasks.
  • Develop effective item stems.
  • Develop effective response options.
  • Edit an item to increase usability and prevent bias and sensitivity issues.
  • Develop effective feedback for students providing incorrect responses.

Mountain Measurement is looking for Program Evaluation Facilitators

Facilitators Wanted:

Mountain Measurement is looking for experienced nurse educators to co-facilitate the following 3-hour web-based courses that will be offered in June 2024 as part of the Program Evaluation Series of the Mountain Measurement Professional Development Courses. More information on each course can be found on the course listing page.

Applicants must have extensive program evaluation experience in nursing pre-licensure education. An honorarium is provided to each facilitator.

Interested educators should submit a CV along with a letter of intent to [email protected] by Friday March 8, 2024.

Blog 018: Transitioning from the Old NCLEX® Percentile Ranks to Logits

With the transition to the online, interactive NCLEX® Program Reports, the metrics used in the Test Plan and Nursing Frameworks (formerly known as Content Dimension) sections of the Program Reports changed. This blog helps educators interpret the Test Plan and Nursing Frameworks sections by providing a table which translates program performance from logits to the previously used percentile rank reported in the old NCLEX® Program Reports.
