Mountain Measurement, Inc. has published the second article in the series on nursing accreditation titled “The Impact of the 2018 CCNE Standards Changes on You and Your Students"
Mountain Measurement, Inc. has published the second article in the series on nursing accreditation on the NCLEX Program Reports Professional Development Seminars website. This article, titled “The Impact of the 2018 CCNE Standards Changes on You and Your Students”, was written by Catherine Dearman, Ph.D., RN, an experienced CCNE and Southern Regional Education Board evaluator. The article is available here.

Cathy’s article focuses on the impact that the 2018 revisions to the key elements of Standards III and IV have on programs. Like prior editions of the Standards, the 2018 revisions provide a “framework, not a set of directions” allowing educators to evaluate their program and document program effectiveness in a manner that works best for them; the 2018 revisions have enhanced this idea and are discussed along with the key elements examined in the article.

The next NCLEX Program Reports article will address the basics of education program codes and provides tips for programs to avoid program code-related data anomalies in their NCLEX Program Reports. This article is scheduled for release in early April. #accreditation #nursingaccreditation #CCNE #acen #programevaluation
