Spring 2020 - Web-Based Special Topics Series

In June 2020, special seminars will be offered to address timely topics such as distance learning, the modified NCLEX Exam, and the impact of COVID-19 on nursing program evaluation. A course description can be found by clicking on the link for each seminar below:

Each of the NCLEX® Program Reports Special Topics Series seminars are 60 to 90 minutes in length, delivered via zoom.com and include a mix of presentations, discussions, polls and large group exercises. A 10-15 minute, online end-of-course assessment is administered to each attendee at the conclusion of each seminar. Although none of the Special Topics Series seminars have prerequisites, the target audience is different for each, so educators should review the course description before registering. Each NCLEX® Program Reports Special Topics Series seminars costs between $50 and $75.

Mountain Measurement is able to offer continuing education credit to all individuals completing the Special Topics Series seminars through the Alabama Board of Nursing (Provider Number ABNP1516 Expires 2/4/2025). 1-1.5 contact hours are provided to participants completing each seminar and each end-course-assessment.

Mountain Measurement is pleased to welcome Karen Frith, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, CNE who will be joining Brian Bontempo, Ph.D., and Daniel Wilson as a facilitator/presenter. Karen is an outstanding resource when it comes to distance learning, and we're excited that she'll be leading the seminar on evaluating distance learning programs.
