Register now for the Winter 2022 Professional Development Courses, featuring "430 - Writing Nursing Test Questions"

Mountain Measurement reminds you that there is still time to register for the Winter 2022 Professional Development Courses, scheduled for February 2022. Although limited, space is still available for "430 - Writing Nursing Test Questions", an interactive, web-based course.

The goal of "430 - Writing Nursing Test Questions" is to develop nurse educators' test question/item writing skills. Attendees will learn tips and techniques for writing effective and efficient test questions and spend a significant amount of time practicing item writing and receiving feedback from the faciliators and their peers.

This synchronous course will be delivered by Ainslie Nibert, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, Department Chair for Graduate Studies and Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing, and Brian Bontempo, Ph.D., Founder and Principal Consultant with Mountain Measurement, Inc.

There is still time to register for the Nursing Frameworks Series, Scheduled for February 14-18, 2022

Mountain Measurement reminds you that there is still time to register for the Winter 2022 Professional Development courses, scheduled for February 2022. The Nursing Frameworks series, offered February 14 - 18, 2022, is the follow-up to the self-paced Analysis Series and provides an even more in-depth look into the NCLEX® Program Reports.

The Nursing Frameworks Series courses dive deep into the profile of program performance that participants developed in the Analysis Series seminars. During these Seminars, participants will connect areas of opportunity to the activity statements provided in the NCLEX® Test Plan and more detailed definitions of the NCLEX® Content Dimensions. Participants will be given the opportunity to develop their skills for coding test items to the frameworks used on the NCLEX® Program Reports and will learn strategies to focus their program improvement efforts. Courses offered in this series include:

Mountain Measurement is pleased to offer continuing education contact hours for these courses (ABNP1516 Exp: 2/4/2025). The number of contact hours awarded to attendees varies by course and is dependent upon the completion of course requirements. Requirements for continuing education credits are available on the Course Description pages.

In response to feedback from educators, Mountain Measurement has adopted a new policy to provide attendees with their certificates of completion within one week of completing a Professional Development Course.

Mountain Measurement would like to remind you to download the Fall Edition or Q3 Edition of the 2021-2022 NCLEX® Program Reports. These Reports contain a plethora of performance metrics that can help you to identify opportunities for program improvement based on the performance of your graduates on the NCLEX® Exam.

In order to identify these opportunities, Mountain Measurement strongly recommends that you complete the NCLEX® Program Reports Introductory and Analysis Series of the Professional Development Courses.

Each of these 30-90 minute self-paced courses will provide you with a basic understanding of the metrics provided by the NCLEX® Program Reports and equip you with the tools needed to analyze and interpret the information contained within them.
