Mountain Measurement, Inc. offers professional development courses ranging in topic from analyzing and interpreting the information contained in your program's NCLEX® Program Reports to conducting successful program evaluation. The nursing education professional development courses are offered online, with both live and self-paced options.
For new Professional Development Course Users: Please use the instructions below to register, pay for and access the Professional Development Courses.
Mountain Measurement, Inc. asks that users ensure they have thoroughly followed the instructions below prior to contacting the support center for assistance.
1. Register for a course
- Log in to the Professional Development Website before you register; if you are logged in, you will see your name and the option to log out at the top of the page.
- If you do not have an account, one will be created for you upon registration for Professional Development Courses.
- Once you have determined which course(s) you would like to register for, you can click 'Register' from the individual course pages, or navigate to the main registration page.
- From this page, select the courses you and/or your colleagues would like to register for by following the instructions on the page.
- You may add multiple users to the same transaction - ensure you do not enter your payment information and finalize the transaction until you have added each registrant to the form.
- Once the transaction is finalized, a receipt/confirmation of registration will be sent via email to each registrant, and a credit card transaction receipt will be sent to the user who processed the transaction.

Most courses following the Introductory Series have prerequisites; please refer to each course page to ensure that you have fulfilled these in order to receive continuing education credit for courses attended.

For those who are new to the Professional Development Courses, it is recommended that they start with the basics.

Mountain Measurement, Inc. encourages all nursing program administrators and faculty who use the NCLEX® Program Reports to attend the self-paced Introductory Series:

The self-paced Introductory series will orient nurse educators to the NCLEX® Program Reports and provide the necessary background information on the NCLEX® Examination, the source data, and the metrics provided in the Reports.

The self-paced Introductory series provides the prerequisites necessary for most other courses.

Following the Introductory Series, it is recommended that Nursing Program Administrators and Faculty attend the self-paced web-based Analysis series:

The purpose of this series is to further cultivate the knowledge skills and abilities necessary for nurse educators to analyze and interpret the NCLEX® Program Reports.

2. Access Canvas
All Professional Development Courses content is housed in Canvas, Mountain Measurement, Inc's learning management system. Prior to accessing both live and self-paced courses and their content, you must have access to Canvas.
- Ensure that you can log in to your user account on the log-in page.
- Unless you are logged in, you will not be able to access the seminars or the supplementary content
- If you cannot log in, reset your password or contact us.
- Use one of the following two methods to create your Canvas account:
- Click the 'Get Started' link in the email from 'Instructure Canvas' received after you have registered for Professional Development Courses. This will take you to the Canvas Dashboard.
- Go to Canvas directly in your browser.
- If you are asked to log in, please use your NCLEX® Program Reports/Professional Development Credentials.
If you do not know your login information, please contact us.
- Once you have created your Canvas account and are logged in, you will see a notification welcoming you to Canvas.
- If you have registered for a course, you will see a notification at the top of the page that you are invited to that course, and the course should be visible on your dashboard.
3. Set up Zoom (for live courses)
Prior to attending live Professional Development Courses, please use the list below to ensure you are prepared to attend via Zoom. Before contacting us for support, please ensure you have met all the requirements below, as we cannot ensure an immediate response on the day of the courses.
- Ensure that you have a Zoom account and know the login credentials.
- To access our live web-based courses, YOU MUST BE LOGGED IN TO A ZOOM ACCOUNT; this account must use the same email address that you used to register for the webinar.
- If your Zoom account is managed by your institution, please reach out to your IT department prior to the day of the Professional Development Course for assistance with your login credentials.
- If you do not have an account, please create a Zoom account.
- If you experience any issues logging in to Zoom, please contact Zoom Support as we are unable to assist with Zoom authentication issues.
- Install the latest version of Zoom, version 5.6.7, by clicking the first Download button in the Zoom Download Center
- Check that your internet connection is adequate to access the webinar by joining a test meeting; talk to your IT department if you are not sure you have an adequate connection.

4. Access your Professional Development Courses
As mentioned above, please ensure that you are logged in to the Mountain Measurement Professional Development Services Site prior to accessing a course and that you have followed the instructions to set up and access Zoom, if applicable.
- Access Canvas using one of the following two methods
- Click the link from the Professional Development homepage.
- Go to Canvas directly in your browser.
- If you are asked to log in, please use your NCLEX® Program Reports/Professional Development Credentials.
- From the Canvas Dashboard, select the course you would like to access.
- Each course will have a home page with a course description and a link to the syllabus, a link, and instructions to access the Zoom Webinar/Meeting (for live seminars), course modules, as well as any assignments, assessments, or surveys.
- Attendees can also access these items from the menu on the left side of the page from any page within a course.
