101 - An Orientation to the NCLEX® Program Reports

This is the first course offered as part of the web-based, self-paced NCLEX® Program Reports Introductory Series. The Introductory Series is intended to familiarize nurse educators and administrators with the NCLEX® Program Reports.

Prerequisites and Target Audience

There are no prerequisites to attend this course.

This web-based, self-paced course is recommended for all nursing educators and administrators in the US and Canada regardless of whether or not the faculty member participates in NCLEX® Program Reports analyses or the educational program has subscribed to the NCLEX® Program Reports.

Purpose

The purpose of this course is to familiarize participants with the NCLEX® Program Reports.

Learning Outcomes

The objectives of the course are as follows. Upon course completion, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and describe the reporting periods covered by each edition, and select the appropriate NCLEX® Program Reports subscription for your program.
  • Describe the NCLEX® Program Reports data flow.
  • Describe the relationship between Educational Program Code accuracy and data integrity.

Format

The NCLEX® Program Reports 101 course is delivered as a web-based, self-paced course that can be accessed through Mountain Measurement's learning management system, Canvas. Participants are expected to complete a 10-minute end-of-course assessment immediately after the course concludes. Participants are invited to attend a synchronous web-based Question and Answer session that the presenters host twice each year.

Materials

All participants are encouraged to have a copy of their NCLEX® Program Reports ready to follow along with the Presenters.

Continuing Education

1.2 contact hours are awarded through the Alabama Board of Nursing (Provider Number ABNP1516 Expires 2/4/2025) to all individuals completing the course and the end-of-course assessment.
