Panel of Experts Member Wanted

The NCLEX Program Reports Panel of Experts is Recruiting Talented Nursing Educators

Background: The NCLEX® Program Reports Panel of Experts is a collaborative group of nursing education gurus that provide vision, leadership, and insight to the creators and producers of the NCLEX® Program Reports. Formed in 2017, this team has been instrumental in the development and delivery of the NCLEX® Program Reports Professional Development Seminars and many of the educational articles found on the NCLEX® Program Reports website.

Current objectives of the NCLEX® Program Reports Panel of Experts include

  • developing web-based professional development seminars
  • writing and reviewing educational articles for the NCLEX® Program Reports website
  • identifying useful nursing frameworks and developing rules for the codification

The NCLEX® Program Reports Panel of Experts is comprised of nursing educators with expertise in program evaluation, assessment, accreditation, and licensure. Currently, the panel has four members. Mountain Measurement is planning to add 3 panelists for 2020, at least one of which will be a Canadian educator. Individuals with expertise in program evaluation, assessment or accreditation are encouraged to apply. This is a rare opportunity to shape nursing education on an international level. If selected, members are expected to serve for 3 years.

Panel members are expected to meet quarterly for a web-based meeting, write and review articles for the NCLEX® Program Reports website, be an advocate for the NCLEX® Program Reports, and maintain an online presence as it relates to the NCLEX® Program Reports. Panelists spend approximately 25 hours per year on Panel activities. In addition, experienced panelists are hired on a case-by-case basis to facilitate the NCLEX® Program Reports Professional Development Seminars and represent Mountain Measurement at relevant nursing education conferences.

Panelists are rewarded by building lasting professional relationships with colleagues across the US and Canada, participating in lively and informative discussions about nursing education and program evaluation, and leaving a lasting impact on nursing education. In addition, a quarterly honorarium is provided.
