Mountain Measurement began working with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing and Pearson VUE to produce the NCLEX® Program Reports in 2005. Through our experience discussing the Program Reports with nursing program educators and administrators, we discovered that many subscribers do not have the knowledge or skills necessary to understand and interpret the information contained in the Program Reports. As a result, many subscribers do not use the Program Reports to their fullest potential.
In 2016, Mountain Measurement set out to help nurse educators maximize the utility of the information contained in the NCLEX® Program Reports. In order to reach this objective, Mountain Measurement began working with the NCLEX® Program Reports Panel of Experts to develop courses to educate nurse educators about program evaluation and the NCLEX® Program Reports. The NCLEX® Program Reports Professional Development Seminars are one of the ways these courses reach the community of subscribers and cultivate the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill this mission.
In 2020, Mountain Measurement expanded the scope of the mission in order to offer its expertise in assessment and accreditation to the nursing education community.
