There are no prerequisites to attend this course. While some more basic topics are covered and may be appropriate for nurse educators and administrators with little to no experience in curriculum mapping, this web-based course is intended for educators and administrators with some experience in curriculum mapping.
The purpose of this course is to provide educators with instruction on how to identify opportunities for program improvement by linking NCLEX® Program Reports' outcomes to a program's curriculum and instruction.
The objectives of the course are as follows. Upon course completion, participants will be able to:
Course 340 is delivered as a 3-hour synchronous, web-based experience which includes a mix of lecture, individual and small group activities, and a 30-minute Question and Answer session. Participants are expected to independently complete a 30-minute end-of-course assessment immediately after the course concludes.
All participants are strongly encouraged to have a copy of their nursing program's curriculum and/or NCLEX® Program Reports Performance Profile
3.5 contact hours are awarded through the Alabama Board of Nursing (Provider Number ABNP1516 Expires 2/4/2025) to all individuals completing the course and the end-of-course assessment.
