Prerequisites and Target Audience

This web-based seminar is targeted to nursing educators and administrators who participate in program evaluation activities or have an interest in analyzing their NCLEX® Program Reports.

The purpose of this seminar is to familiarize educators with the NCLEX® Content Dimensions and using them to interpret the NCLEX® Program Reports.

This seminar is the second part of a four-part seminar series intended to be the online counterpart to the face-to-face 210 Seminar "Using the NCLEX® Test Plan & Content Dimensions to Understand NCLEX® Program Reports Outcomes".

Learning Outcomes

Upon seminar completion, participants will be able to:

  • identify NCLEX® functional areas and content dimensions
  • provide a brief definition of each content dimension
  • cultivate the development of a detailed content dimension definition
  • link the definitions to their program's NCLEX® performance in order to gain insight into areas of opportunity

    1. Develpoing your program's Comprehensive Content Dimension Definitions
    2. Mapping NCLEX® Activity Statements to Content Dimensions


The NCLEX® Program Reports 210.2 Seminar is delivered as a 50-minute lecture, with some large group activities and a 10-minute Question and Answer session. Participants are expected to independently complete a 10-minute end-of-course assessment immediately after the seminar concludes.


All participants are strongly encouraged to have a copy of their NCLEX® Program Reports ready to follow along with the Presenters.

Continuing Education

1.2 contact hours are awarded through the Alabama Board of Nursing (Provider Number ABNP1516) to all individuals completing the seminar and the end-of-course assessment.
