This web-based seminar is targeted to nursing educators and administrators who participate in program evaluation activities or have an interest in analyzing their NCLEX Program Reports.

Purpose
The purpose of this seminar is to familiarize educators with Categories of Clients of Needs, the NCLEX® Test Plan, and the detailed NCLEX® Test Plan information.
This seminar is the first part of a four-part seminar series intended to be the online counterpart to the face-to-face 210 Seminar "Using the NCLEX® Test Plan & Content Dimensions to Understand NCLEX® Program Reports Outcomes".
Learning Outcomes
Upon seminar completion, participants will be able to:
- describe the value and attributes of a good framework
- appreciate the rigor associated with the NCLEX® Practice Analysis
- describe the reasons for using the categories of clients needs framework to describe the practice of entry-level nursing
- identify the activity statements associated with low performing NCLEX® Test Plan Areas

Format
The NCLEX® Program Reports 210.1 Seminar is delivered as a 50-minute lecture, with some large group activities and a 10-minute Question and Answer session. Participants are expected to independently complete a 10-minute end-of-course assessment immediately after the seminar concludes.
Materials
All participants are strongly encouraged to have a copy of their NCLEX® Program Reports ready to follow along with the Presenters.
Continuing Education
1.2 contact hours are awarded through the Alabama Board of Nursing (Provider Number ABNP1516 Expires 1/31/2021) to all individuals completing the seminar and the end-of-course assessment.
