200.1 (Formerly 2001) ‐ The Basic NCLEX® Program Reports Analysis Process

Prerequisites and Target Audience

Attendees must have completed the 101 Seminar "An Introduction to the NCLEX® Program Reports", or the 100-series equivalents (100.1 (Formerly 1001) Seminar "A Brief Introduction to the NCLEX® Program Reports", 100.2 (Formerly 1002) Seminar "Understanding the Overall Performance of your Candidates", and 100.3 (Formerly 1003) Seminar "Understanding the Topic Area Performance of your Candidates").

This web-based seminar is available to all nursing educators and administrators in the US and Canada.

Purpose

The purpose of this seminar is to prepare educators to conduct an analysis of their NCLEX® Program Reports and introduce them to the basic analysis process. This seminar is the first seminar of a two-part series intended to be the online counterpart to the face-to-face 201 Seminar "Analyzing and Interpreting Your NCLEX® Program Reports".

Learning Outcomes

Upon course completion, participants will be able to:

  • Calibrate their expectations of the time and stakeholder involvement required to get meaningful information from the NCLEX® Program Reports.
  • Identify questions that can be answered using the NCLEX® Program Reports.
  • Describe the basic NCLEX® Program Reports analysis process.
  • Describe the value of each comparison group.
  • Describe the different types of comparison points and identify where each can be found in the NCLEX® Program Reports.

Register

Format

The NCLEX® Program Reports 200.1 Seminar is delivered as a 50-minute lecture, with some large group activities and a 10-minute Question and Answer session. Participants are expected to independently complete a 10-minute end-of-course assessment immediately after the seminar concludes.

Materials

All participants are strongly encouraged to have a copy of their NCLEX® Program Reports ready to follow along with the Presenters.

Continuing Education

1.2 contact hours are awarded through the Alabama Board of Nursing (Provider Number ABNP1516) to all individuals completing the webinar and the end-of-course assessment.
